BRICS, the new global superpower

At the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, Thailand applied to join the BRICS group along with three other ASEAN countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The Thai government sent Ms. Maris Sangiampong, Foreign Minister, to attend the meeting in place of Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra. Thailand stated at the meeting that Thailand is committed to enhancing its interactions with the BRICS group and believes that Thailand will be a good link between BRICS and other groups such as ASEAN, APEC, BIMSTEC, and ACD. สล็อต
